Description of Gioiosa Ionica Open Water Diver Course
Underwater course 1st level BASE (Open Water Diver) with the FIAS teaching (Italian Federation of Underwater Activities) an Italian diving course with a long history, existing for over forty years .
The teaching of the Federation has its roots in the history of Italian diving , one of the oldest in the world, but it has continued to constantly update itself on the most modern pedagogical systems, boasting today a wide range of diving courses, supported from structured teaching aids to allow a gradual and pleasant learning of underwater activities and diving problems.
Course with SSI didactics - Scuba Schools International: the SSI digital learning system represents a completely innovative standard in diver education.
With the evolution of studying through digital tools, SSI has deepened the use of technologies that encourage the learning experience, at any time and in any place.
License enabling diving with scuba gear with diving buddy within 20 m of depth.
The cost of the course includes:
- participation in 6 theoretical lessons,
- 5 dives in delimited waters
- 4 open water dives;
- theoretical-practical exam at the end of the course,
- rental of all necessary equipment for all dives.
The duration of the course is that of:
- 6 theoretical lessons,
- a total of 9 dives (5 in confined waters and in open water),
- the taking of the theoretical-practical exam at the end of the course.
The courses take place from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00.
