Horse riding and falconry day in Rome

Hawks, Owlsand Horseshoes: these are the keys to an unforgettable and unique day.

We fuse in a single proposal two very ancient and noble arts such as horse riding and falconry.

If each of them already represents a unique emotion in itself, a day dedicated to the two represents an unforgettable and evocative opportunity for all nature and animal lovers.

The activity takes place in the beautiful Regional Park of Castelli Romani and will make you take a step back in time.

This is a proposal suitable for adults and children (accompanied children) which will be organized according to this approximate program:

• 10.30 am: meeting with the expert falconers and the equestrian guides for the presentation of the activity and first meeting with the animals,
• 11.00am: departure for the horseback ride, also suitable for beginners, while the falcons will accompany us in flight,
• 12.00: return to the starting point for the last questions, fotc with the birds of prey and goodbyes

The falconer will always be present to give you some information on the art of falconry and to show you the suggestive technique of fist calling. Under the watchful supervision of this expert professional, the more enterprising will be able to also try wearing the specific glove and recalling the hawk.

The horseback ride will last about an hour, which makes it suitable even for beginners and will be particularly exciting thanks to the splendid panorama we will cross and the accompaniment of the falcons.
