Description of Blue Dream

Blu Dream is a Sports Association of divers who share a passion for diving and the sea in general.

Our Mediterranean is in fact a sea rich in life and colours, which has nothing to envy of the more well-known tropical seabeds, although it has very different biological characteristics from them.

BlueDream has as its main purpose and mission the promotion of a new awareness of protection and respect for the marine environment, the construction of which it contributes to with the organization of underwater and non-underwater recreational activities.

In addition to diving, in fact, the center is active with norkeling excursions along the coast, in the splendid waters of the Etruscan Coast and the islands that dot the Tuscan Archipelago.

Our philosophy is to experience the sea without haste and in complete relaxation, which is why we offer you entire days to spend peacefully on our dinghies, diving with us or simply enjoying a swim away from crowded beaches and dedicating yourself to sunbathing.

It will also be possible to organize Trolling and Bolentino fishing trips.

Diving withBlue Dreama.s. offers many advantages.

In fact, this area, located in the immediate vicinity of the Piombino promontory and a short distance from some of the most beautiful islands of the Tuscan Archipelago (Elba, Capraia, Pianosa and the small Cerboli and Palmaiola), is particularly rich in attractions.

The presence of over 100 wrecks in the waters in front of the town of San Vincenzo, 10 of which are well equipped for underwater visits, make this stretch of sea particularly popular with wreck diving enthusiasts, who can satisfy all their needs here, with easy dives or more challenging, therefore reserved for expert divers. The wrecks that can be visited are in fact at variable depths, from a minimum of 8 m to a maximum of 78 m.

The nearby coast of the Piombino promontory, easily reachable from the Salivoli Marina, offers several easy dives on colored rock walls, very suitable even at night. This area, immediately outside the Gulf of Baratti, is also particularly interesting for all lovers of underwater archaeology, due to the numerous finds from the Etruscan and Roman era that have occurred here in recent decades. It is still not uncommon to observe, with a little attention, the remains of Roman amphorae directly during immersion.
