Our courses include two fundamental areas of parachuting: the
military and the
sports one.
The Military Parachuting courses take place under the direct control of the parachute corps of the
"Folgore" Parachute Brigade and continue for approximately ten weeks, with two meetings every two weeks hours per lesson: one dedicated to physical training, the other to theory.
These courses usually take place starting from
the month of March and continue until October. At the end, the parachutist is subjected to all the required exams, which involve both physical and theoretical preparation.
The tests are carried out with a launch simulator, present at the headquarters of the Military School of Parachuting in Pisa.
Only those who pass these first steps will be able to access the three actual patent launches which represent the fundamental preliminary to obtaining the launch qualification certificate.
The Sports Parachuting course instead follows the classic system of the
tied wing (or constraint rope) and is divided into two steps.
The first phase concentrates the theoretical preparation and takes up approximately 10 hours of teaching. It is organized into two weekly lessons lasting one hour each. The meetings follow a personalized line, according to the student's needs, and always take place in the evening.
The second phase, however, is practical and includes 3 levels. After reaching an altitude of 1200 m, the launch takes place with an automatically opening parachute. After a few seconds of free descent, the student will find himself gliding accompanied in the operations from the ground, via radio, by the instructor.
Once all levels have been successfully passed, the student will be allowed to jump independently, at the end of which he will obtain a participation diploma and the relevant parachuting licence.
For those who don't feel ready to take on a real launch preparation course,
the school organizes Tandem launches.
You will be introduced to the world of skydiving by one of our instructors. Suitably harnessed to your teacher and having reached a height of 3000 metres, you will face approximately 40 seconds of free fall.
Once the required altitude has been reached, the instructor will open the parachute. Upon request, a video operator will accompany you to capture the salient moments of your flight and give you an indelible memory of the experience.
