Active in the area since 1979, Surftrieste is a shop specializing in windsurfing equipment but also a Surfcenter and school, which operates from May to September.

The courses offered by Surftrieste are:

• Windsurfing courses at three levels for adults and children;

• Kitesurfing courses;

• SUP (Stand Up Paddle) courses.

Surftrieste the only center dedicated to Windsurfing in the province of Trieste. Located on the Barcola embankment, from May to September it organizes numerous collective and individual courses dedicated to all those who want to approach the world of Windsurfing or improve their skills. p>

The courses are held by instructors with international VDWS qualifications, and take place at all levels in the water area in front of the centre.

The single lessons will be personalized based on your needs and knowledge, which the instructor will evaluate together with you.

windsurfing courses for children and teenagers are also available, to allow them to have the most fun practicing this sport!

The equipment for this type of lesson is suitable for children aged six and over, making it a perfectly practicable sport even for the littlest ones.

The Windsurfing courses are structured as follows:

• First level, to learn about the equipment, set up the sail and maintain balance;

• Second level, where you will learn the main gaits (tack, jibe) and safety at sea;

• Third level, to perfect knowledge, use the harness and manage the board in medium wind conditions, sailing without drifting.
