The tour we propose will last approximately 8 hours, with an itinerary that will allow you to appreciate all the beauty and majesty of Etna.
The excursion includes a visit to the extinct craters, with a trekking route of approximately 4 km which can be adapted to your sporting level.
Once you arrive at the edge of the craters, at a height of approximately 1750 metres, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view!
You will continue with a visit to a lava flow tunnel, equipped with helmets and torches and then you will make a stop at a delightful alpine refuge for a moment of rest, a drink or a snack.
After the break, we will begin an Off Road section (not possible with the Van) of about 5 km inside a pine forest, skirting an old lava flow and observing a more recent one from 2002.
We will then continue towards the ski resort located on the northern side, Piano Provenzana, at an altitude of 1900 metres, destroyed by lava in 2002 – 2003.
The tour will end with a visit to a company specializing in beekeeping and a tasting of honey, extra virgin olive oil and other typical products of Etna.
