Description of Ski touring base in La Thuile full day
We propose an approach to Ski touring in the La Thuile valley, a perfect area to learn the basic techniques of this winter mountain activity. You will spend a whole day with our specialized team that will introduce you to the territory of this locality in the Valle d'Aosta.
The activity will start at 8am and will continue until 12.30pm, when your guide will take a short break to grab a hot drink or soup, not included in the price. After this stop, an uphill stretch will begin, dedicated to observing the wonderful winter landscape of La Thuile up to the final point and the beginning of the descent.
The path will be simple and the pace will be slow, the idea is that everyone can participate and learn to love this activity. Come with friends and family, you will all be together in groups of minimum 4 and maximum 6 participants of any age, all are welcome.
Your safety is a priority for us, so we provide you with a safety kit that includes the ski touring ARTVA device which is used to search for avalanche victims. All other items you will need including climate-friendly clothing, skins, skis, boots can be rented in our facility but are not included in the price.
