Description of Guided tour of the Last Supper + skip the line
Come and visit the masterpiece"The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, inside the basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Commissioned by Ludovico il Moro, this fresco decorates the refectory of the mausoleum of the Duke of Milan. Ludovico il Moro was one of the main promoters of the Renaissance in Lombardy and this tribune is one of the clearest examples. In addition to the Last Supper, you can also admire the other fresco that makes up the mausoleum, namely the Crucifixion by Donato Montorfano.
With this ticket you will be accompanied by a specialized guide who will show you Leonardo's secrets during the creation of the work, for example the fact that he used a technique similar to painting on canvas even though he had to paint on a wall. The guided tour will also show you the Renaissance architecture of this basilica belonging to the Dominican order.
During the exhibition you can also attend the live cinema performance "Cenacolo live" which will immerse you 360 degrees in Leonardo's work.
only 1300 people can visit the fresco every day, due to the natural deterioration of the work, so don't wait and secure your entry to this masterpiece!
