The visit begins in the historic center of Palermo along via Vittorio Emanuele, the oldest street in the city, where the old city begins. We will visit Porta Nuova , the monumental gate of the city of Palermo and the Palazzo dei Normanni , the oldest royal palace in Europe.

We will continue towards the Cathedral of Palermo , a masterpiece of the Arab-Norman-Byzantine architecture and symbol of the city, and then move to Via Maqueda, the beating heart of the old city.

We will walk among the noble palaces and churches with their imposing Baroque facades, to discover the history of this city so rich in culture. Finally we will see the Piazza Quattro Canti and Piazza Pretoria with its famous fountain and we will proceed to the Teatro Massimo, where our tour will end.

The excursion also includes a coffee break to try the typical Sicilian sweets.
