2h hang gliding flight over Lake Como

Treat yourself to a fantastic hang gliding flight over the wonderful Lake Como !

For this hang-gliding flight we will fly to Alto Lario , in the region north of Lake Como , we take off from 1200m asl from Mount Berlinghera .

During the flight we will fly over the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve , admiring lakes, woods and cultivated lands from above that draw geometric shapes of multiple colors on the plain. Following the wind currents you will experience an incredible sensation of absolute lightness and freedom!

How will I react once I am in flight? Will I be able to manage emotions? These are the most frequently asked questions of passengers preparing to take off. But do not worry! You will be accompanied and followed during each phase of the flight until landing. Particular attention will be paid to you already in the phase before take-off, since you will be given the information and motivations necessary to face this new experience with confidence.

The practice of tandem hang gliding is exercised in compliance with the rules and regulations that guarantee flight safety, by our accompanying pilot recognized by the Aero Club of Italy.

The appointment with the pilot will be in Port of Gera Lario , in the province of Como , about 10 minutes before the start of the activity. We will climb Mount Berlinghera with the van of our organization accompanied by a driver-assistant.

Here we will begin the flight preparation steps. At the take-off site you will be able to observe how all the equipment is carefully assembled and then, with a short introductory briefing, you will be given the simple steps to "take flight".

Upon landing, the hang glider will slowly touch the runway with its wheels. Finally, you will be taken back to the initial meeting point by our driver.

This activity is suitable for everyone. No specific skills or previous experience are required. However, for safety reasons, a maximum height of 190 cm and a weight not exceeding 95 kg is required. The transported person must declare to be in good physical condition, in the absence of heart disease or pregnant.

For minors, the presence of at least one parent on take-off and a signed deliberative authorization is required.

The activity takes place all year round, compatibly with the weather conditions. The hang-gliding flight is strongly subject to the weather, therefore, the day before the scheduled activity, the pilot will give you confirmation of the flight.

To give you a complete 360-degree experience in the days following the flight, a video of the flight will be sent by e-mail to always have a material memory of this wonderful experience with you! The video is a giveaway, the organization will endeavor to provide quality images, but not
a refund of the price can be requested for any technical problem of the video cameras.
