2-hour hang-gliding flight on Lake Como

Treat yourself to a fantastic hang-gliding flight on the wonderful Lake Como!

For this hang gliding flight we will fly in Alto Lario, in the region north of Lake Como, we take off from 1200m above sea level from Mount Berlinghera .

During the flight we will fly over the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, admiring from above lakes, woods and cultivated lands that draw geometric shapes of multiple colors on the plain. Following the currents of the wind you will experience an incredible sensation of absolute lightness and freedom!

How will I react once I'm in the air? Will I be able to manage my emotions? These are the most frequently asked questions by passengers who are preparing to take their flight. But do not worry! You will be accompanied and followed during every phase of the flight until landing. Particular attention will be paid to you already in the phase preceding take-off, from when you will be given the information and motivation necessary to face this new experience with confidence.

The practice of two-seater hang-gliding flight is carried out in compliance with the rules and regulations that guarantee flight safety, by our accompanying pilot recognized by the Aero Club of Italy.

The appointment with the pilot will be in Porto di Gera Lario, in the province of Como, approximately 10 minutes before the start time of the activity. We will climb Mount Berlinghera with our organization's van accompanied by a driver-assistant.

Here we will begin the flight preparation phases. At the take-off site you will have the opportunity to observe how all the equipment is scrupulously assembled and subsequently, with a short introductory briefing, you will be taught the simple operations to perform to "take flight".

During landing, the hang glider will slowly touch the runway with its wheels. Finally, you will be taken back to the initial meeting point by our driver.

This activity is suitable for everyone. No specific skills or previous experience are required. However, for safety reasons, a maximum height of 190 cm and a weight of no more than 95 kg is required. The person transported must declare that they are in good physical condition, without heart disease or are pregnant.

For minors, the presence of at least one parent at take-off and a signed authorization is required.

The activity takes place all year round, depending on the weather conditions. The hang gliding flight is highly subject to the weather therefore, the day before the scheduled activity the pilot will give you confirmation of the flight.

To give you a complete 360-degree experience, in the days following the flight, a video of the flight will be sent to you via email to always have a physical memory of this wonderful experience with you! The video is a tribute, the organization will strive to provide quality images, but not
you may request compensation for any technical problems with the cameras.

For hang gliding we recommend wearing sneakers or trekking shoes and clothing suitable for the season.
