The Maremma Park with its luxuriant nature and its viewpoints over the Tuscan Archipelago, riding through the woods of the Mediterranean scrub and reaching the famous Cala di beach Forno...all this awaits you with the proposal for a day's trekking in Tuscany.
Participation in the walk requires a medium-high level of equestrian technique as it is aimed at riders capable of managing walk or trot gaits, the most requested pace for a whole day on horseback, which for a novice rider could be quite tiring, and he would not enjoy the day
The excursions start from our stables and once we understand the level of the group we can decide which route we will take, so as to guarantee that everyone can have fun and spend a wonderful day in the saddle. Don't worry because all the courses are very similar and show a unique and unforgettable path.
It will be possible to participate with adult English and American riding riders (for minors the limit is set at 12 years but with the accompaniment of tutor riders).

How long the activity lasts
The duration of the walk will be 4 hours in the saddle with a picnic break on the Cala di Forno beach of approximately 2/3 hours.

Description of Two days on horseback in the Maremma Park
An equestrian trek suitable for those looking for a horse riding experience, even without experience, which absorbs them in nature for a long weekend.The routes wind through the Maremma Park, within which there are different itineraries that can be traveled on horseback, all of which lead to the locality of Magliano in Toscana; accompanied by certified equestrian guide in Italian and English, who will be able to show you the most beautiful and exciting places on each route, you will experience an unforgettable weekend.
The horses available to trekking participants are splendid examples of Anglo-Arab, Italian Sella and Maremmani horses, accustomed to trekking and well trained, aged between 5 and 16.
On our horseback ride we will discover ancient paths, surrounded by the uncontaminated nature of the Maremma and the silence of the countryside, being able to enjoy an adventure immersed 100% in nature.
This excursion is mostly aimed at adults, however if you are a minor, up to 12 years old, you can still take part in our excursions as long as you are accompanied by an adult . Not only that, in fact we also recommend you wear long trousers, boots and a helmet, which if you don't have one will be given to you by our stables upon your arrival.
What does the activity include
- Overnight stay as established in the farmhouse (or according to equivalent request),
- helmet supplied if not in possession of the riders.
- 2 horseback excursions with guide
- 2 nights in a double room
- buffet breakfast, for 2 days, provided at the accommodation facility that will host you;
- picnic (packed lunch) on excursion days, consisting of typical Tuscan sandwiches, water and accessories, will be brought in a packed bag; on request picnic for vegetarians or celiacs
- Dinner on the first day is already included, planned to simplify your arrival, subsequent dinners, not included, will be chosen together
How long the activity lasts
Our horseback excursion will last an entire weekend with two overnight stays
When your activity starts and finishes
We will leave on Friday afternoon to return to our riding school on Sunday, again in the afternoon
