The tours begin in one of the oldest and most historically important places in the city: the Reale Società Canottieri Querini. Then we will paddle among the lagoon birdlife; we will sail under bridges and look at the facades of churches and palaces.

Exploring Venice at sunset, which dyes all the canals with shades of red, represents a unique opportunity to admire the city in a completely new and profoundly mystical way. We would have the opportunity to explore the most authentic canals and least frequented by tourists, the most secret canals, known only by the locals. It will be one of the most romantic moments of your stay in Venice. You will return home full of unforgettable memories and wonderful photos that will forever be tangible evidence.

For medium-skilled kayakers: adult groups, couples and solo travellers

How many kilometers do you paddle?

The experience lasts 2 hours, during which you cover5 kilometres.

The program:

• Visit to the Querini Royal Rowing Society;
• Introductory lesson to the Canoe technique;
• Visit of the City of Venice.

It is important to bear in mind that:

• Public transport nearby

• Our experiences require physical effort, but they are not of a sporting nature. Your rowing skills should be basic skills. You can do the activity in a kayak, canoe or other small rowing boat or directly with a paddle. You should have tried kayaking or canoeing at least once in your life or, at least, know what it is. During the tours you often encounter high waves (30-40 cm) generated above all by the undulating movement of the other boats.
• The weight of the paddler must be less than 120 kilos.
• Only one double kayak is provided per experience. When the group is made up only of adults, the guide decides on the spot who will use the double kayak based on the physical abilities of the people present.
• People with severe disabilities and pregnant women after the third month unfortunately cannot be accepted.
