The Genius Tour by mountain bike (6h), Vinci

Are you mountain bike enthusiasts ? With us you have the opportunity to make a fun excursion in the saddle in the splendid lands of Tuscany which hosted one of the greatest geniuses in history: Leonardo da Vinci .

The bike tour will start right from Vinci and will last a full day . You will ride together on the hills of Montalbano , immersed in the nature and silence of the area.

This route has a medium-high difficulty and is therefore suitable for those who have experience of enduro .

You will travel over 25 kilometers , with a total altitude difference of about 700 meters . At lunchtime there is a stop in a restaurant where you will have lunch with your friends.

Besides admiring the Vitruvian Man you can admire the central square of Vinci . The excursion also includes a passage to Poggio di Marradino , from where you can enjoy a view from above on the village , continuing towards Anchiano where is the birthplace of Leonardo which can be visited upon request.

You will then cycle towards Faltognano , where there is a magnificent centuries-old holm oak before reaching La Cupola , the highest peak of Montalbano .

Once back in Vinci you can visit the famous Leonardo Museum and take special photos of the picturesque town center .
