One of the most beautiful and particular places in eastern Sicily that you cannot miss is the area of the Alcantara Gorges, located between the provinces of Messina and Catania.It is one of the most visited and appreciated attractions in the whole of Sicily, due to its charm and uniqueness. It is a valley, which has the classic shape of a real canyon and owes its formation to three successive volcanic eruptions, a real spectacle of nature!
In this offer you will be offered a quad tour lasting about two hours starting from Francavilla di Sicilia. The itinerary includes not only a visit to the main tributaries of the river Alcantara, but also a stop at the famous Gole dell'Alcantara. If you decide to travel during the summer season, you can enjoy the beauty of the natural pools and waterfalls with a relaxing bath. You will then conclude the excursion with a visit to the medieval village of Castiglione di Sicilia.
A mandatory requirement to drive our quads and be in possession of the type B licence. For minors or for those who do not meet this requirement, it will still be possible to take the trip but occupying the passenger seat.
It is important that the maximum weight is 180kg in total.
We advise you to bring sports clothing and possibly a change of clothes with you.

In fact, between the provinces of Catania and Messina there is this magnificent naturalistic landscape, one of a kind, created thanks to the erosion of the river water which has uncovered and given birth to the basaltic lava walls with an atypical and unique configuration.Our offer includes an excursion in two-seater quad lasting a total of three and a half hours, during which we will visit the towns of Montagna Grande and you will admire the still unspoilt and fascinating beauty of the Peloritani mountains and the Aeolian Islands and the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other. A breathtaking 360 degree panorama!
The itinerary has as its starting point Francavilla di Sicilia and includes stops at Castiglione di Sicilia; here you cannot miss the wonderful view of the Alcantara Gorges. We will then arrive at Motta Camastra and from there we will easily reach the most important point of our excursion: Montagna Grande.
As mentioned before, the quads that we provide include a passenger seat and a driver seat. In order to drive, a type B driving license is required, otherwise you can occupy the driver's seat without problems.
Before leaving, you will be given all the general and necessary information by a guide to better enjoy the experience.
We also strongly advise you to present yourself in comfortable and practical clothing.
