Kitesurf Toscana

For the staff of Kitesurf Toscana fun and relaxation are one thing. Our kite schools are located on one of the most beautiful and rich in tourist attractions of the Tuscan coast, offering you the right solution to spend different holidays.

The school organizes a basic course consisting of six lessons:

• Knowledge of materials and theoretical preparation, a bit of history on the kite, the materials and their differences, safety systems and the main rules, winds and knowledge of the place.
• On the beach practice with simulator: a kite that flies like a wing but with a lot of traction, to acquire only the correct movement of the bar. First learning exercises with the kite
• Practice on the beach with a kite: small in size to start gaining sensitivity on the propulsion that a sail delivers
• On the Beach Practice with a kite: real size, how and where to launch and lower a kite, use of the harness.
• In the water: Body drag (piloting the wing in the water) consists in dragging the body without the board.
• In the water: starting with the board, starting technique with the board on the ground, starting in the water.

The school is present in three different locations, Grosseto, Talamone and Catiglione della Pescaia. Students who wish to attend the course must be in possession of documentation, a medical certificate of sound and robust constitution and a passport-size photo.

All materials will be provided by the kite center until the end of the six established lessons. Lessons can be individual or collective and usually take place in the early afternoon onwards and last about an hour.

The student will be covered by personal and property liability insurance, and at the end of the course the relative Kiteboarder Card will be issued, where the insurance and level will be reported.
