Aero Club Vercelli

Aero Club Vercelli is an air club born in the now distant 1928 when airlines began to emerge and spread. In Vercelli, while the Province begins the procedures to purchase the land to be used as an airfield, 15 people founded a group of Air Tourism with the name of M.O. Mazzucchelli.

The number of students who take part in the flight school increases exponentially , at the time an hour of flight cost 200 Lire, since then the Flight School of the Aeroclub Vercelli has always operated in leaves during the war . Today the Aero Club Vercelli manages the Carlo del Prete airport operating and ensuring with its own fleet a quality service also guaranteed by a fire service. We have always based our philosophy on points that we consider fundamental as:

We have a fleet of 6 model aircraft that we use for the courses and services we offer, and thanks to our workshop equipped with an IT system for maintenance, safety is always in first place. .

The Aero Club Vercelli , a historic club known for the experience and competence of its team, has been on the road for years to fomr pilots of aircraft defined as ultralight , as well as that to allow those who already have the qualification to fly these fun aircraft and to lean on our base. We offer various types of courses affordable for all potential pilots to get started in this fantastic world.

The aim is to transmit the culture of aviation together with safety, a fundamental theme in this sport. The courses we offer are divided into theoretical and practical part, and have a duration of about 3 months (46 hours for the theoretical part and 16 hours for the practical part) . The theoretical ones are divided into 2 lessons per week of 2 hours each that will be held at our Aero Club , furthermore for a matter of convenience we offer the possibility to follow the courses in videoconference having only a fast connection, headphones and webcam, while the practical ones are divided into initial and advanced training, including 4 solo flights with different missions as the student's goal.

At the end of the course there is a check of the level of preparation through pre-exams. Subsequently, the student will be able to take the theoretical-practical exam to obtain the certificate . Below is a list of the services offered by our Aero Club:

The Aero Clube Vercelli since June 2013 has adopted the training programs provided for by Reg. (EU) 1178/2011, also known by the name PART-FCL, reaching a very important goal, the ATO (Approved Training Organization) Certification respecting the above regulation becomes the 10th Italian organization to receive this title . Receiving this title is not easy, as a well-organized structure is required consisting of Head Training , Chief Flight Instructor and Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor , as well as flight instructors who carry out theoretical lessons approved by ENAC. Beyond these figures we find the Compliance Monitor Manager who is responsible for maintaining the school's high quality standards, and the Seafty Manager who is responsible for raising the quality standard of safety.
