The Volturno Fly Aeroclub organizes flying courses for all those who are fascinated by this exciting discipline and have the dream of becoming pilots in the civil or military field, air traffic controllers, radar men in charge of air traffic management, for those interested in meteorology or the LMA (Aeronautical Maintenance Licence) or in the professional opportunities that may derive from them. The structure offers different types of flight courses that are divided into two categories: free flight courses and VDS courses to obtain the patent for ultralight flight.

Among the free flight courses you can choose to paraglide or hang glide, while if you decide to drive an ultralight then you can choose between multi-axis, helicopter, commuter and autogyro.

The courses organized by the Volturno Fly Aeroclub offer suitable training for passing the corresponding exams for flight controller, professional pilot, airport ground staff and allow access to competitions of the Air Force and other Armed Forces and access to all university faculties and public competitions.

The flight school, located in Limatola , in the province of Benevento , offers you its years of experience and the professionalism of its experienced pilots to offer you the best hang gliding courses !

The courses are divided into the practical part , consisting of 20 lessons, of 30 minutes each, where in the first hour you will be joined by one of our expert instructors viewing the theory learned and learning its gestures, while starting from the second hour the instructor will let you learn to put into practice the theory previously learned by guiding you and being at your disposal throughout the activity.

As for the theoretical part consisting of 23 hours, in which we will deal with topics such as introduction to the VDS, legislation, materials, aerotechnics, meteorology, engines, flight technique, flight instruments and navigation.

Aeroclub Fly Volturno prefers to deepen some topics, such as air navigation and traffic circuits and for this reason the theoretical hours are higher than those provided by the regulation of the Aero Club of Italy .

The Volturno Fly Volo Ultraleggero Aeroclub offers flight courses relating to the following aerial specialities: multi-axis, helicopter, commuter and autogyro. In order for you to take the course, some requirements are necessary: it is essential to be at least 16 years old and have written parental consent or be over 18 years of age; the original medical certificate issued by a legal medical institution of the Air Force or by a military doctor or by a doctor specialized in sports medicine or aeronautical and space medicine is required. If required, medical examinations can be carried out on site. It is necessary to bring with you a permit issued by the police station of residence and finally four photos in passport size.

The course includes 10 hours in total, divided into 20 30-minute missions, 14 of which in dual command with the specialized instructor and then the last 6 as a solo pilot. The practical lessons are accompanied by 23 hours of theoretical lessons.

During the first part, the student sits in the passenger seat accompanied throughout the activity by one of our expert pilots; in the second part the roles are reversed: the student sits in the pilot seat and the instructor in the passenger seat.
