Base Cumulo Club Volo Libero

The flight club "Base Cumulo" was founded in 2003 as a base for all pilots who are passionate about hang gliding and paragliding .

Created by a group of friends with the same passion for gliding, the Club offers all pilots who want to try the flight experience on the Parma side of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines a close-knit and expert group, always available, with to share the wonderful flight experience.

The flying points frequented by the pilots of the club are Val Ceno and Val Taro, but very often the pilots go to the high Val Parma or other interesting areas.

The take-off usually takes place at an altitude of 1400 meters, on the top of Monte Pelpi, reachable by off-road vehicle, but very safe for the flight because it is free of obstacles, while the planned landing ranges in a wide area about 5km of flight from the top of Pelpi, to Compiano Island.

Whether you are already a pilot, or you are just intrigued by this wonderful adventure, the flight club "Base Cumulo" is the place for you.

Base Cumulo Paragliding is the free flight club born from the union in 2003 of a group of friends who are passionate about flying.

The club is open to all hang gliding and paragliding pilots who want to experience flying on the Parma side of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and share their experience with a team of enthusiasts sportsmen.

Leaning on Base Cumulo you can fly with the other members in different areas, Val Ceno and Val Taro, among the first, and participate in the many outings in the regions of central Italy.

The take-off point is usually located at an altitude of 1400 meters, on the top of Monte Pelpi, while the landing site has as its official site a spacious area about 5km of flight from the top of Pelpi, in Isola di Compiano, but can in case of need find other points of contact.
