Aero Club dello Stretto

The Aero Club dello Stretto is the non-profit association that has been active for years in the dissemination of flying activities.

The birth of the aero club dates back to 1949 with the Aero Club Reggio Calabria , today, after years of activity, the aeroclub has become a non-profit Amateur Sports Association very active in sports, teaching and tourism.

From a training point of view, the Air Club dello Stretto provides the theoretical and practical training necessary for the achievement and maintenance of the private pilot license of a PPL aircraft, held by qualified and certified flight instructors, as well as courses of other specific training between which:

• add. for differences for aircraft with variable pitch propeller (VP), retractable landing gear (RU), rear wheel (TW) to pilots already in possession of a license and to students, during the PPL course,
• add. of familiarization between the various types of aircraft belonging to the same Sep / land class,
• add. for the achievement / maintenance of national revalidation and flight resumption qualifications after 60 days of inactivity.

In the tourism field, the association is committed to spreading flight activities and proposing activities that keep pilots active.
