Associazione Vega Ulm

The Vega Ulm Association operates at the "Fondone" Airfield in the province of Lecce . Our school is a member of the Aero Club of Italy and since 2010 it has been affiliated with the Coni . In 1996 it was certified as a VDS school and since then it has become the first ultralight flight school in Salento , training more than 300 qualified pilots.

The Vega Team , made up of instructors from the School and pilots from the Club, has participated in many international air shows. We offer the following courses:

• Recreational or Sports Flight Course (VDS) for multi-axis aircraft: basic course to get in touch with the world of ultralight flight.
• Passenger transport qualification course: to learn to fly in company.
• Aeronautical Radiotelephony Course: to learn the specific terms of in-flight communication.
• Pleasure or Sports Flight Course (VDS) advanced: this is the course following the first VDS course.
