Arcieri del Torrente

The initiative was taken by a group of friends united by a great passion, which has remained unchanged over time.

In these years of tireless commitment to training and teaching archery techniques, the Arcieri del Torrente Company has opened itself up to ever new members, reaching around seventy members.

Federal instructors will support you during the activities on the shooting range, for the preparation of athletes for the matches scheduled by the FITARCO calendar and for the training of beginners through the starter courses which are held regularly at the headquarters.

The course program then continues with advanced courses, developed for athletes already trained in the field of shooting sports who want to prepare for competitive sport and special specialization courses for those who want to train in teaching shooting, for schools or special courses for entertainers who want be used within tourist villages.

We at Arcieri del Torrente participate in competitions at all levels, from provincial to national ones, and we are personally involved in organizing one of the important indoor competitions included in the Federation calendar and other meetings .

Part of our activities are reserved for younger people, for whom we have created a special department, the Youth Activity Center which deals with archery in ways suitable for children aged from 9 to 18.

The archers' group also has an active integration project for disabled people, to take advantage of the great value of this sport and the possibility of adapting, with due assistance, to everyone.

The basic course is the same for all students and passing it allows students to join the company to continue their training, choosing between the specializations in:

• bare bow, also known as instinctive shooting,
• Olympic bow, known as aimed shooting,
• compound or unlimited bow.
