The Mongolfiere Aeroclub of Mondovì is the first Balloon Aero Club in Italy. In fact, in the city of Mondovì the hot air balloons have now become part of the panorama: the climate of the area is excellent for flying.

As regards the managed activities, the most important for the public, even outside the aerostat environment, is perhaps the organization of the International Aerostatic Meeting of the Epiphany of the City of Mondovì , which arrived at its twenty-ninth edition and with an enormous visual impact. The meeting is also very popular abroad.
Among the various competitions organized, the Monregalese Trophy, now in its fifth edition; the Italian championship, recognized by the International Aeronautical Federation. In addition, the Mondovì Mongolfiere Aeroclub also organized the World Air Games 2009, a very important event in the field of hot air balloons in Italy.
