Fun flights with the sports association for free flight in a hot air balloon! Vincenzo Lunardi Lucca Balloon Club owes its name to this character from Lucca who over two centuries ago accomplished an unthinkable feat for the time : in 1784 he was the first air traveler who flew for 2 hours and 15 minutes, crossing spaces.

The free flight, available to all people who wish, includes transfers to and from the take-off point, a breakfast upon landing and, as tradition dictates, a ritual air baptism toast. The whole thing normally lasts about an hour and a half and you go in the direction that the wind recommends. The tied flight is organized to attract people to parties in the squares of cities or towns, to festivals, market exhibitions or sporting events. Participants will be able to take flights offered by you. Furthermore, among the most evocative moments is that of the "Balloon Glow": in the evening the hot air balloons, illuminated like gigantic light bulbs, will rise into the sky to a height of about 40 metres, allowing citizens a singular and magical night flight.

We are located in Lucca, but we are operational throughout Tuscany thanks to a partnership between journalists, athletes and various personalities from Lucca, mostly belonging to the world of culture, tourism and individual sports. What we are interested in is making aerostatics known from a sporting and cultural point of view, and in the near future we would like to train local pilots. We collaborate with various professional pilots, with organizations and private individuals, on spectacular captive flight events, also carrying out tourist flights over Lucca and the Tuscan territory. With the aim of promoting the latter and that of the nearby cities of art, we organize international aerostatic rallies.
