Federazione Speleologica Veneta is not a group, but rather the union of several speleological groups, 28 in all, and includes under a single name the various clubs regularly registered in the regional register of Veneto, which they dedicate themselves to this practice.
The Federation officially came into being in 1981 with the aim of creating a system of synergies and a network of knowledge between the various groups for the study of the rich Veneto territory, famous for its karst conformations.
Among its tasks, the Venetian Speleological Federation coordinates the various exploratory activities in the regional territory, as well as the research and dissemination of the related results of the groups that are part of it.
“Venetian Speleology” is one of the means that the Federation uses to disseminate these results, a publication that has spread unchanged since the 1980s.
A necessary body that allows us to maintain attention and control over the development of speleo on a vast territory such as the Veneto one.
