Gruppo Speleologico C.A.I. Varese SSI

Thanks to theC.A.I. Varese and in particular its speleology section you will also be able to experience the great emotion of entering the heart of the earth! The calendar drawn up every year by this association which has been present in the area since 1970, in fact, does not only include proposals for those who already have some experience in the field of speleology, but also cave excursions with routes characterized by a low level of difficulty , accessible even to those who have never undertaken a similar activity, and capable of allowing the curious to realize their dream of feeling like explorers and, above all, learning new notions about this fascinating activity and science.

This type of "beginner" excursions is usually organized in the Grotta del Frassino, a karst cavity on Monte Campo dei Fiori.

For those who wish to continue practicing and training, Gruppo Speleologico C.A.I. Varese SSI is active with theoretical-practical courses and many opportunities to experience in groups.
