Gruppo Speleologico CAI Palermo

By joining the CAI Palermo Speleological Group you will be able to develop your knowledge and practice in the subject that you are so passionate about, being able to participate in all the activities organized by this club dedicated to the exploration of the natural cavities of the Sicilian territory and carrying out surveys aimed at studying these particular environments and disseminating research in the speleological field.

Through this constant commitment to maintaining the life of the association full of opportunities and research projects, the CAI Palermo Speleological Group plays a leading role in the enhancement of the heritage both natural and artificial underground.

We reserve special advantages for our members, such as:

• Participation in trips, camping, provisions, explorations, called by all Sections;
• Reduction on rates for CAI refuges;
• Registration in the SCI - C.A.I.;
• Registration to the speleological group;
• Registration to the Rock Climbers Group;
• Participation in mountaineering, speleology and skiing courses.
• Insurance included in the membership as well as for Alpine Rescue and for any damages.

Ordinary Members receive the Monthly Magazine published by the CAI Headquarters free of charge. and the sectional magazine "Montagne di Sicilia", while Young Members receive only the sectional magazine.
