Speleology consists of a perfect combination of intentions with its scientific aspect, the study of natural and non-natural cavities, and its sporting aspect.
The year of foundation of the Padua Speleological Group dates back to 1973 and, since this date, the center has continuously carried out its research and exploration activity in the Veneto and other Italian regions.
The group's main field of action is the study and documentation of natural and urban cavities.
The group's scientific vocation is also evident from an educational perspective with the organization of theoretical introductory courses, implemented with speleological excursions, which aim to introduce enthusiasts to this field.
