Speleology is a discipline in growing development and interest, probably, because the speleologist still today, and is the only figure, has the ancient charm of the true explorer.
The underground environment is, in a now globalized world, an environment that is still mysterious and waiting to be discovered and studied. However, speleology is a science that requires careful study and great preparation on the part of its practitioners, and certainly cannot be improvised, above all due to the need for adequate technical and psycho-physical preparation on the part of those who tries his hand at expeditions.
The Unione Speleologica Pratese, a section of the CAI dedicated to this type of training, is the center that enthusiasts or curious people who want to dedicate themselves to this type of training can turn to practice and study in complete safety and with adequate technical and practical preparation.
The proposed course is structured into six meetings with exercises on the territory, mainly in the areas of Maremma and the Apuan Alps.
