L'Associazione Sportiva Camosci

The Sappada Chamois Sports Association was founded in 1980 and immediately established itself as one of the most important realities for national and international cross-country skiing.

• The main objective is to introduce young people to cross-country skiing: specialized coaches and technicians follow the over 50 kids who carry out sporting and competitive activities in this sense with passion and dedication. Five athletes from the A.S. Chamois are currently part of the National Teams: Silvio Fauner, Pietro Piller Cottrer, Enrico Tach, Daniela Piller, Marina Piller and Daniele Piller Roner.

• In addition to club activities, the A.S. Camosci has demonstrated excellent and recognized skills by organizing or co-organizing important and renowned events: among these two editions of the Christmas Sprintissimo, two editions of the Nordic Skiing World Cup, the Italian Championships both Overall and for the younger categories.

Ski slopes:

the Sappada Camosci Sports Association is part of the Dolomiti NordicSki circuit, the largest ski area for cross-country skiing in Europe. The advantage of such an area is given by the possibility of skiing on over 1100 km of Nordic ski slopes with a single ski pass.
