Guided tour of Palermo lasting two hours

This guided tour will take you through the streets of the historic center of Palermo , a splendid city with many Arab influences.

The walking tour starts from Piazza Politeama , the meeting point of the main streets of the city. We will pass through Via Ruggero VII , also known as the living room of Palermo , in via Principe di Belmonte , with its historic shops. The walk continues until you reach the most important opera house in Italy and the third in Europe, the Teatro Massimo .

We will continue along the alleys and streets where we will be able to admire the architecture in Arabic style. The next stop will be the Mercato Capo , the most famous of Palermo .

The tour continues with a visit to the cathedral of Palermo where the remains of Frederick II of Swabia are kept. Afterwards, we will visit the open market of Vucciria and then return to Piazza San Domenico .

The visit will last about two hours and will be carried out by an authorized guide .
