Le Terre di Federico is a cultural association created to promote tourism throughout Italy, especially in Puglia .

The association was born in 2011 and since then our passion has motivated and encouraged us to spread the culture of the territory , making its treasures known through the organization of activities aimed at educating young and old about values of nature.

The best way to discover the magic of Puglia is by getting to know its territory, with its flavors and its culture. For this reason, the activities we organize consist of naturalistic and cultural tours with the aim of rediscovering the importance of safeguarding the wonders that surround us.

Our team is made up of professional guides , experts in the area, who work with enthusiasm and passion.

Many of our activities include wine tourism itineraries , with various tastings , because Puglia is worth discovering above all for its flavors.

Le Terre di Federico is the association formed by certified tourist guides of the Puglia region that deals with hiking with routes of naturalistic, historical and cultural interest.

The center, among its proposals, also includes speleological itineraries in the different cavities that dot the heel of Italy:

• Visit to the caves of Santa Croce: a cavity of karst origin, which opens 113 meters above the sea level;
• Dolmen della Chianca : a prehistoric megalithic monument dating back to the Bronze Age;
• Grotte della Lama del Vagno: a magnificent cave of sea rock;
• Altamura Caves: where a skeleton of Homo neanderthalensis was discovered on 3 October 1993 ;
• Grotta di San Michele: one of the most beautiful grottoes in the world, in which we find a shrine, the destination of many pilgrims;
• Pulicchio di Gravina : a Corsican sinkhole among the great karst cavities of Puglia.
