The Trekking that we propose on this occasion is part of the ecotourism-cultural-food and wine field and will lead you on the traces of the civilization of the Campania section "Valmisca-Fortore" of the
Regio Tratturo PescasseroliI-Candela and its tratturelli, arms and diverticula, among the archaeological settlements of the Samnites, flavors and traditions of the Campania hinterland.

You can spend two relaxing days full of unforgettable moments in the name of culture and sport, in direct contact with nature and with the traditional, local food and wine, on the millenary way that the shepherds used to beat.

This autumn weekend will be a regenerating experience that will recharge you, you can enjoy the charm of the landscape, and be surprised by its indefinable cocktail of colors, lines and harmonies that have filled the eyes and soul of many generations of travelers, from times of the Samnites until today.
History has passed on the Regio Tratturo and particularly in the Valmisca-Fortore area, an area that has seen the passage of ancient civilizations because it is crossed by a single natural path used as a road route for the passage from Rome to the Holy Land. The road was the scene of the passage not only of the transhumance of the flocks, (along the way it will be possible to see the last signs of it) but also of armies, saints, crusaders, pilgrims and brigands.

Generations of travelers who have left their presence along the road with taverns, customs, necropolis, memorial stones, dry stone walls, fountains, rests, stazzi, largari, road crosses, farmhouses, inns, churches, sanctuaries, towers and castles, caves , palaces today immersed in the incredible naturalistic manifestations of fauna and flora that make this area a unique place in the world.

What does the activity include

The price includes:

2 guided treks in the Fortore and Miscano area on the Regio (Trattro medium challenging route suitable for everyone),
2 refreshment stops at about halfway with the traveler's bag,
2 stop with tasting of seasonal local products in a characteristic point

trekking guided by expert people,
assistance on the route,
visits to farms or artisan businesses along the route.
