Sunday Trekking + tasting Irpinia

Our proposal for Agri Weekend - Trekking on the sheep track "The passage of foxes and bandits '' takes you to discover the nature of Valmiscano - Casalbore Ginestra and its flavours: two possible dates (26 August and 2 September) for a Sunday at 'signs of direct contact with the territory.

This is a trekking excursion of approximately 4 hours led by an expert guide affiliated with the UISP Lega Montagna, with tasting of typical products of the region upon return to the office, particularly suitable also for hikers who want to share the experience with their children .

Accompanied trekking will guide you through landscapes and routes that are the result of an ancient culture, an area that is not very accessible and inaccessible and that in the past constituted an ideal refuge for wild animals and bandits, to the point that it was a favorite area for fox hunting until beginning of the 19th century and saw the rise between the 16th and 18th centuries of a fortified Masseria, a military headquarters to try to counter the phenomenon of brigandage.

A one-day adventure that will give you access to an incredible landscape, particularly fascinating for nature photography enthusiasts due to its still wild and uncontaminated nature.
