Trekking at sunset to the Madonna Dell'Alto Sanctuary

An excursion with destination to the Madonna dell'Alto Sanctuary will make you appreciate the many paths that pilgrims have always followedto ask for grace from the Madonna, all with the surrounding sunset lights that will make this trek unique and inimitable.

The departure will take place around 2pm along the road to Piano Battaglia which, after about 5 hours of walking, will take us to visit the sanctuary dedicated to the Madonnathe highest in Europe, at an altitude of 1819 metres. During the walk you will be able to appreciate landscapes of high scenic and cultural value, crossing uncultivated fields and livestock farms that coexist every day with hypogea, villas and spas from the Roman era .

We will rise in altitude and we will be accompanied by the colors of a splendid sunset which, upon reaching the sanctuary, will allow us to admire a large part of the territories of Sicily before the return which will take place at first hours of the night.

We recommend using material suitable for a winter excursion such as trekking shoes and material that can protect you in case of cold. Furthermore, in the event of snow, snowshoes will be provided to help you walk on the snow.

**The excursion will be carried out upon reaching a minimum groupof six people.
