The Apuan Alps host trails suitable for trekking , an outdoor activity accessible to all and suitable for walking in the midst of the most unspoiled nature.
The meeting will be in the small town of Fornovolasco , where you can meet our expert environmental hiking guide of the area. We will begin to climb in altitude for a circular route, following the so-called " Via del Sale " and arriving up to the Foce di Petrosciana.
With this 6-hour excursion you will have the opportunity to discover corners of paradise in Tuscany , such as the village of Fornovolasco , the Pania della Croce , the monte Procinto and the wonderful monte Forato . From the top, at 1,223 m, you can admire a breathtaking view, glimpsing even the Tuscan sea on the horizon. We will then return to the valley, enjoying the view.
The route has an altitude difference of 700 meters. We recommend sportswear, shoes suitable for trekking and to bring a packed lunch with you.
