6-hour snowshoe hike on Monte Crepacuore

Between the provinces of Frosinone and Aquila stands the mountain of Crepacuore, which takes its distinctive name from its height. Reaching 2,000 metres, this mountain offers one of the most privileged views in the region to those who dare to be part of a snowshoe trip in the area.

In fact, with its 1997 meters of height, this relief allows you to admire a landscape composed of two environments: on one side the Tyrrhenian coast and on the other the Apennine mountain range.

This landscape of extraordinary beauty will be the destination of our snowshoeing, which will begin in Campocatino and which will continue with the help of snowshoes and poles that we will provide to cover the 12 kilometers .

This excursion is classified as a medium difficulty activity due to the length of the route and its duration, 6 hours in total. However, there is only a 400 meter difference in altitude that anyone with a little experience could overcome without any problems.

Everyone, aged 14 and over, with a little experience, can be part of our team of at least 5 members who will be guided by a specialized professional, who will explain all the characteristics of the route and the techniques of this racket sport snow. If you come alone, no problem, you will join an already formed group or other participants with whom you can make friends.

We recommend dressing comfortable clothes suitable for the winter season and bringing a backpack to store water and food. The objective of this adventure is that everyone can spend a different, beautiful time together with nature, which is increasingly neglected by the city routine.
