Description of 6-hour snowshoe hike in Val Cavargna

Val Cavargna is a valley in the province of Como located between Lake Lugano and the Lugano Prealps which offers such wonderful views that we organized a snowshoeing with a mid-mountain guide specifically to show them to you, we are sure that you will enjoy the experience.

The snowshoe excursion will begin in San Nazzaro Val Cavargna, where the guide will be waiting for you to explain the general rules of this winter sport, with the aim of developing the skills necessary to tackle this 6 hour activity.

From this point, continue towards the Croce di Campo refuge along a dirt road of minimal difficulty and then up through snow-covered meadows on a ridge of spectacular beauty. You will reach a height that will allow you to look at Lake Lugano and Lake Como.

To face the adventure you will need snowshoes and poles which we will provide you in our center and which you can rent for just 5 euros more. You will have the best quality material.

Let yourself be enchanted by this panoramic landscape and invite your friends and family over the age of 14 to walk in this mountainous area of Lombardy in groups of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants. If you want to organize larger groups, from 5 to 15 members, take advantage of the discount we offer!

The price of the activity is the same for young people and adults, taking into account the medium-low difficulty level of the walk, which is not suitable for children. Come soon, we are waiting for you with open arms!
