5-hour children's snowshoe hike on Monte Lema

On the Italian peninsula, on the border with Switzerland, is the mountain range of the Lugano Alps , from which rises the Monte Lema , a jewel of the region Lombardy that you can discover in depth with our team during a fun snowshoe hike.

If you are a curious child aged at least 10 and want to explore the whole Pradecolo Refuge area, this adventure is for you! Come to our center where our mountain leader will welcome you and give you a briefing on the most important techniques of this snow sport.

Together with him, you will enter a long-trunk beech forest between Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano . Once out of this wood, you will have before you a panorama of absolutely extraordinary views of mountains that reach 4000 meters high. This scenario will take your breath away, it will be a spectacular moment.

In our center I found all the necessary equipment to start the super snowshoe hike. Snowshoes and sticks can be rented for an additional cost of 5 euros.

You will travel the entire route in the company of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people. If you want to come with more friends, no problem, we have created a special discount for you that allows you to create groups of up to 15 participants.
