Description of Two days in the refuge with snowshoes

An unmissable proposal from the Macugnaga Alpine Guides for high mountain enthusiasts: a winter snowshoe excursion with an overnight stay in a refuge, to fully experience the unique charm of our mountains and the magic of a winter in Macugnaga.

The program includes:

1st day: Meeting at 3pm at the departure of the Pecetto chairlift to meet the Alpine Guide, check the equipment, climb with snowshoes to the Belvedere.

Dinner and overnight stay in the refuge.

2nd day: breakfast, snowshoe trip to Lake Locce. Travel time approximately 2.5 hours. Packed lunch. Return in the afternoon.

*Possibility to rent snowshoes on site.
*Activity subject to weather conditions and a minimum of six participants (if the minimum required is not reached, you may be joined with other groups).

How long the activity lasts

The offer is valid from 01.12.12 to 24.12.12 and from 07.01.13 to 31.03.13.
The excursion lasts two days with an overnight stay in a refuge.

When your activity starts and finishes

The meeting is scheduled for 3.00 pm on the first day, while the return is scheduled for the afternoon of the following day.

The offer includes an overnight stay in a refuge, in which dinner and breakfast are provided.
