Meeting at the small square of Pecetto at 9.00am, walk in the Wildlife Oasis at the Hinderbalmo Bivouac, up to the Alpe di Roffelstaffel, packed lunch, return from the Belvedere glacier, possibility to stop for a snack with typical products at the Agriturismo dell 'Alpe Burki.
Regina Margherita hut
The baptism of the 4000, the most sought after destination for all mountain lovers. Excellent destination for those who want to try their hand for the first time.
The program takes place over two days:
1st day: meeting with the Alpine Guide at 12.00. Departure for Alagna and ascent by cable car to Punta Indren. From here continue on the glacier to the Capanna Gnifetti mt. 3647. Dinner and overnight stay in a refuge. Height difference mt. 300. 1.30 hour journey time.
2nd day: along the Lys glacier, following a path that runs along the Vincent Pyramid, the Balmenhorn, the Corno Nero and the Lyskamm, to reach the Colle del Lys at mt. 4250 and then the summit: Punta Gnifetti, with the highest refuge in Europe, the Capanna Regina Margherita at mt. 4550. 4/5 hours walk to see a dream come true. In the afternoon descent on foot to the cable car to Alagna, return to Macugnaga.
Difference in height uphill mt. 950, drop in height mt. 1650.

Trip on the glacier:
Ascent by cable car to Monte Moro, excursion to the summit Seewjjnen m. 3206, descent and continuation to the Corno Rosso m 3230, route on easy glacier and rocks.

Ascent by cable car to the Passo del Monte Moro, departure for one of the most spectacular historical routes of the Macugnaga Guides: theCrossing of the Chamois, passing through the Bocchetta di Stenigalghi and then through the Roffel Glacier, you reach the Bivouac Sella (m. 3029), once a very popular retreat, at the base of some of the most important streets of the east of the Rosa.
Descent to Pecetto (1350 m) in the late afternoon.
Travel time 5/6 hours.

3rd day: ascent to Nuovo Weisstor with return from Passo Iacchini

Introductory course on mountaineering for kids: aimed at kids who are mountain enthusiasts; ideal for learning the techniques to deal with it safely with the help and expertise of a mountain guide in the splendid Amphitheater of the Alpe Pedriola at the foot of Monte Rosa.
Meeting on Monday 22 July at 8.30 am at the start of the chairlift in Pecetto, meeting with the guide, checking the materials, going up with the plant, continuing to the Rifugio Zamboni-Zappa. During the week we will face rock climbing, safety notions, self-rescue, mountain walking, rope games, orientation.

The Alpine Guides of Macugnaga Arrampicata organize courses and climbing outings on the many equipped routes of the Val d’Ossola, a real paradise for lovers of bouldering and sport climbing!

Climbing course for kids
Rock climbing: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2 hours of lessons per day from 10 to 12 in a group of 4/5 boys, using the necessary technical equipment - ropes, harnesses - at the Sports Center Gym.
