• The Orridi di Uriezzo, in the Antigorio Valley, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, are known as "the great canyon of Piedmont". The gorges were formed by the presence of an ancient glacier, the Toce glacier, whose waters did the work of erosion, sculpting the rocks and creating the natural spectacle that can be contemplated today. In addition, the special conditions of light and humidity have created a very varied plant ecosystem. Starting from Baceno, you will find dizzying waterfalls and natural pools. Is canyoning in Piedmont dangerous?

No, no more than any other adrenaline-fueled sporting activity. You will have to descend rivers between rock walls and streams, and it goes without saying that you will have to be careful when moving.
