The Sub Verbania Association has been dealing with underwater activities since 1964.
Engaged from the outset in interventions of recovery and rescue in the waters of Lake Maggiore, in the rivers and in the neighboring basins, is a collaborator of the Police Forces and the Civil Protection through rescue activities and making a useful service by making available the own resources, equipment of the Center and the very long experience of its divers.
Beyond that, the Sub Verbania Association has a fervent educational activity with the aim of spreading this sport and a culture of the same, which focuses on awareness and safety as well as protection and respect for the environment underwater.
The teaching of the courses that the center organizes is the one that accompanies it from the beginning, the FIPSAS , a constituent member of the CMAS (Confèdèration Mondiale des Activitès Subacquatiques), aimed at release of FIPSAS / CMAS patents recognized worldwide.
