Since 1997 the Portorotondo Sub Center has been the point of reference for divers in Sardinia, one of the most evocative areas of the Mediterranean.
The main diving site is on the quay in the Portorotondo Marina next to the Yacht Club, an enviable position for carrying out underwater activities with maximum comfort: boarding and disembarking directly on the quay, the small beach for courses thirty meters away, shower facilities warm after diving.

The Portorotondo Diving Center is a Dan sponsor and is accredited for carrying out excursions in the waters of the La Maddalena marine park as in that of Tavolara, easily reachable thanks to the strategic position of the diving site, positioned right in the center of the two reserves, with around twenty diving points a short distance away by sea.
The most famous and unmissable dive in the area is the Secca del Papa di Tavolara, characterized by its submerged spiers covered in red gorgonians with external appendages dyed yellow and a favorite habitat for large groupers that are calm enough to be observed even at a short distance from divers.
