Description of Centro Subacqueo Telese Terme

At the Telese Terme Underwater Center you will be able to obtain patents from the first Open Water Scuba Diver level (allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters) to the highest Dive Master.
The diving center, affiliated with the U.S. A.C.L.I. of Benevento , rises on Lake Telese, whose geological features represent the optimal conditions for unforgettable dives; the lake, of karstic origin, has in fact a diameter of about 350 meters and a maximum depth of about 25 meters and is surrounded by different pools, all affiliated with the center, where you can move your first underwater "steps".

The Open Water Scuba Diver course is divided into 6 theoretical lessons, 6 in the pool or bounded waters and 4 at the sea.
The most advanced courses include more complex dives or in particular conditions, of which some examples are constituted by
• the night-time,
• the deep, which goes up to the depth of 40 meters,
• the guided cave,
• the exploration of wrecks,
• using a dry suit in low temperature waters,
• with nitrox (air with oxygen),
• archaeological research.

The possibility of dives in open waters, both sweet and savory , represents a considerable advantage, both from the point of view of the variety of the offer, but also as regards the logistic aspect, the lago in fact also allows the inhabitants of the neighboring areas the Telesina Valley to enjoy this incredible sport in the absence of an outlet to the nearby sea.
