Cilento Sub is the center dedicated to diving based in the province of Salerno which organizes dives and diving courses in Cilento.
The operational base of the center is located in the port of Agropoli, in a particularly strategic position for carrying out excursions. High quality services in the field of diving are offered from the base, thanks to a team of great professionals and long experience who will all their knowledge available to the customer.
The underwater itineraries all take place within the Cilento Park, whose depths can also be explored midweek.
The courses are based on international teaching S.S.I., one of the most important organizations worldwide in the field of diving teaching. At Cilento Sub you will be able to find highly qualified staff who will be able to guide you in theoretical progression and training, through all the levels foreseen by this program:
- Snorkel Diver: first approach foreseen for underwater activities, it is carried out without breathing apparatus and with the use of basic equipment; it lasts 4-12 hours
- Open Water Diver Junior: Introduction to open water diving for children (from 12 years old),
- Open Water Diver: important theoretical and practical course which combines 5 classroom lessons with 5 practice lessons in the sea, enabling you to dive (from 15 years of age) in pairs and with the aid of a breathing apparatus to a maximum depth of 18 meters without decompression,
- CPR First Aid Diver: it is a fundamental prerequisite for access to the Stress and Rescue course and deals with in-depth first aid topics, offering divers the first rudiments of the practices,
- Specialty Diver: SSI specialties include a minimum of two theory lessons and at least 2 open water lessons. The purpose of the specialty courses is to gain experience under the direct control of an instructor and prepare the student for new situations.
- Advanced O.W.D.: the advanced course which certifies the possession of higher level knowledge, the license is obtained only by achieving 4 specialties and having completed 24 open water dives, li>
- Stress and Rescue: next step to CPR, it deals with underwater rescue techniques by training the diver to act in an intervention in an aquatic environment,
- Divecon Specialist: for those who want to achieve degrees of in-depth knowledge of diving technique and the certification that involves obtaining the title of divemaster (diving guide), with accreditation for the management of thesnorkeling course, participation in the Associate Instructor course.
