The complete teaching apparatus of Blue Continent proposes:
The teaching of our Federation is based on what are the founding foundations of Italian subwater, one of the first to institutionalize itself and which today boasts a thirty-year activity, keeping itself updated over time regarding the most modern pedagogical methods and relying on effective teaching aids in order to guarantee the student a gradual learning.
With this spirit, Blue Continent continues its path and evolution, using increasingly modern technologies and methods.
The operational area winds along the coast, from Capo Palinuro to Porto Infreschi , a surprising karst area which, in its geological evolution has given rise to many caves in the air, later submerged from the advance of the sea and suggestive sea caves formed by erosion.
In addition to the famous caves of Palinuro, there are many virtually unknown sites, scattered on the eastern side of Marina di Camerota, many characterized by the presence of fresh water sources that make diving, due to the phenomenon of the alocline, particularly suggestive .
After having emerged inside, it will be possible for the diver to also remove the diving equipment and treat himself to a short excursion of the cave, but it was necessary to be particularly prepared because of the increasing difficulty of suchdiving.
The cave immersion that offers Blue Continent is particularly interesting from a biological point of view, for the incredible variety of marine life that populates the walls of these environments: very rich algae populations, the prairies of posidonia, and finally the extraordinary seabeds that rarely exceed 50 meters deep, even under the cliffs of Capo Palinuro, create generating ideal conditions for fish reproduction.
Even in the absence of a diving license, with the Blue Continent exits, snorkelers will have the chance to appreciate the evocative population of red algae, spongy incrustations, bryozoan colonies, or move among herds of bream, glimpses, murmurs and many other species. All participants in the center's snorkel trips are accompanied by a trained assistant, who will ensure, in addition to safety, also to guarantee the visit of the most interesting sites.
In addition to the underwater beauties, the emerged environment also offers extraordinary surprises, the Cilento park and the Val di Diano are our hinterland, rich in history : the ancient ruins of Velia, the Spanish towers that, since the sixteenth century, have been dotting and monitoring our coast.
