The Diving Areamare carries out its activity in the summer period, opening in June and closing in September. It is also usually open for the spring long weekends of April 25th and May 1st. In other periods the diving is operational and opens on request.
Our Diving is, by management choice, sized to accommodate a limited number of people, this allows us to be able to meet the needs of our guests.
In carrying out our activities we take into due consideration the fact that our Customers are spending their holidays and for this reason we have adopted measures to ensure that these are more pleasant and relaxing. For example, guided dives are carried out with a limited number of participants and we organize the trips in such a way as to have an abundant amount of time available, this allows us to guarantee peaceful dives for everyone and especially for those (photographers, video operators , inexperienced, etc.) who need real calm and tranquility to prepare and carry out the dive. Furthermore, we have established the so-called "equipment service", through which the Customer can entrust the care of his equipment (assembly, washing, transport, warehouse) to the diving staff so that he will only have to show up for boarding , where he will find all his stuff ready on board, and leave for the dive.
Diving
The scope of our excursions is very broad and there are numerous diving sites, most of which are located in the protected marine area of the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, in which we are authorized to operate.
The type of seabed, rich in life and colours, is varied and it is possible to dive on shallows, on walls, on landslides and on wrecks. But, despite the environmental differences that can be encountered, our dives all have one characteristic in common: a depth that rarely reaches thirty metres.
Our daily trips involve carrying out two dives in two different sites during the morning, to allow all participants to observe different seascapes; the return is scheduled for lunchtime in order to have the rest of the day available to dedicate to family, friends and other seaside and tourist activities.
The Courses
At the Diving Center it is possible to attend PADI and SSI diving courses.
Even in our training courses we apply measures that make them more pleasant and productive: first of all the groups are made up of a maximum of 4 students, so as to be well followed by the instructor, furthermore audiovisual teaching aids are used which make learning easier and pleasant.
The duration ofcourses vary from 2 days for a Specialty Course to 20 days for a Divemaster Course. All courses include both theoretical and practical training, which is carried out directly at sea.
Participants who do not have it, in addition to the SCUBA equipment, will also be provided with the basic equipment (mask, fins, wetsuit, waist belt).leads)
