Filo Sub

Filo Sub is the diving center in Portoferraio, made up of a staff of highly qualified professionals who will put their experience at the service of those who wish to discover the beauty of the underwater world, tackling it in complete safety. , the adventure of an immersion in the province of Livorno.

The center organizes courses of all levels in Italian and the other main European languages: English, German, Spanish and French.

The courses that you can attend at Filo Sub are based on the main teaching methods on the market: PADI, SSI, DAN Oxygen, PSA and SCUBA GYM Free Shark, with particular attention to the didactics aimed at to children, for whom courses are organized with pedagogically trained staff.

The dives are programmed based on the certification held by the participants and according to the technical level of each individual diver part of the diving group and, in any case, they never take place outside the safety curve or depth limits set by the Port Authority.

Diving instructors and guides from Filo Sub will constantly assist you during the activities by illustrating the most interesting diving spots in the wide range of itineraries and possibilities offered by the center, which range between:

• daily dives,
• night diving,
• full-day releases.

Those who do not hold a license will in any case be able to participate in dives accompanied by an instructor.

The center provides customers with environments and structures suited to their needs and to facilitate learning and accessibility:

• teaching room for theory lessons, equipped with multimedia supports and library
• equipment storage;
• independent tanks for cleaning wetsuits and regulators, containing disinfectant;
• possibility of refilling with air and nitrox;
• complete rental equipment, modern and in excellent condition (wetsuit, BCD, octopus with DIN connection, double-connection DIN - INT cylinders)
• snorkeling equipment for both courses and rental;
• 11m fast boat (28 knots), with 5 beds, kitchen for "full-day" excursions and bathroom,
• 7.00 m inflatable boat with 130 HP engine,
• 4.70 m inflatable boat with 25 HP engine.
