Ogigia

Ogigia is the diving center that offers all enthusiasts the opportunity to undertake underwater activities, or to continue their journey within them.

Thanks to the professionalism and long experience at sea of the Ogigia staff, you will soon be able to take part in your first underwater excursions along the splendid coast of Cosenza, which, according to legend, was the home of the nymph Calypso.
Ogigia offers diving courses at all levels, guided dives for certified divers, with their own and non-own equipment, FUL DAY trips. Also with us: Maldives, Red Sea.

The levels for the courses are distributed as follows:

• Open Waterdriver to acquire theoretical and practical information up to a depth of 18 m
• Advanced Driver in which you acquire skills for diving in particular conditions
• Prevention and rescue driver in which you will learn to prevent or collaborate during rescue operations
• First aid which provides the main information to assist a person in the event of an accident
• Specialty driver in which you learn specific skills for various types of specific dives
• Divemaster, this course allows you to obtain a license as a diving guide or instructor

In addition to the diving school, you can also contact the association for tourist flights and Nautical School activities, through whose courses you can obtain sailing and motor licenses and which reserves special agreements for pre-organised groups or schools. For the latter, the possibility of creating blue weeks, with logistical support for accommodation in hotels and apartments, is particularly interesting.

Splendid Excursions are organized on the Island of Ogygia, the site of Homeric tales and the scene of the adventures of the nymph Calypso, who in those islets, now submerged and overlooking the coast of Magna Graecia on the Ionian Sea, he had his home.
