The association was born from a person with a passion for the sea. sports, in the Onda Blu diving centre.
The person directly involved and founder isAntonio Potì,advanced instructor, who has now been in the diving sector for several years; together with his staff he offers, respecting the marine environment, the beauty and knowledge of the seabed of Salento.
The dissemination of this knowledge is characterized through marine and land reconnaissance excursions that the diving center organizes throughout the year.
The association aims to safeguard and recover the marine environment, collaborate with bodies and institutions, carry out socio-environmental and rescue activities.
The center is active in Puglia, within a splendid glimpse of the Ionian Sea, enclosed between the two beautiful seaside resorts of Gallipoli and Taranto, in the hamlet of Porto Cesareo called Torre Lapillo, which, thanks to its central position , can organize your underwater activities directly within the marine park of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area.
The seabed of the area, of a karst nature and characterized by the presence of submerged sea caves along the entire stretch of the Salento coast, makes the environment extraordinary and highly characteristic, as well as particularly fascinating for the diver.
